I broke my humerus completed in half and got ambulanced to this hospital in the middle of a blizzard with my arm at a 60 degree angle. This was about 6 weeks ago now. Looking back and I have to say that I am very appreciative of the care and attention I received here at this hospital. The nurses were all extremely concerned for me and were very attentive. I was in a ton of pain, they knew it, and they made sure to check on me often and do everything they could to keep me stable. The CATscan techs were a bit rough getting me in and out of the machine, thought they could have been a little more considerate of the fact that my arm was hanging on by a thread. They ended up being able to fold my arm into a comfortable position against my body in a sling so that could get discharged and pursue treatment elsewhere with an orthopedic surgeon. All in all though, great ER, great nurses...I was in bad shape and feel lucky looking back that they were so good to me.

When I visited the web site I saw a lot of negative reviews. That is far from the experience my wife has had during her fight with cancer. The staff and nurses have been outstanding. I can't believe how they have jumped in and handled messy situations. Five stars without question?

The only place you should go in case of emergency. Take me to Vassar? Sure, and die on the way there? If you live in Kingston, go to the hospital in Kingston! The doctors are fantastic and the Radiology department is top notch. Now with the merger with Westchester they have doctors and surgeons for procedures they couldn't do before. Come to HealthAlliance and stay close to your home and family.

I brought my mom in for SOB and a bad cough. Seen immediately. Eric RN and Dr. Kwok were so sweet and wonderful. Mom is 99 years old and they took excellent care of her. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and started on IV antibiotics and I was able to take her home. Best care every time!!!

I cannot say enough about the excellent care that I received from every single member of your medical staff. From the excellent and professional caregivers in the Emergency Room to the staffs at 3 Broadway and 3 West, I was given world class care. You all made me feel safe, and assured me that I would get better. I never had to wait for a response when I rang the call button, someone was right there. I wish I could write the name of every person who interacted with me but I am sure I would leave out a name, so many people cared for me. I have been brought back to health and I am eternally grateful. You are all in my prayers.

We rushed to the Kingston ER from Vassar hospital who told us we could have a 5 hour wait despite symptoms of chest & abdominal pain and BP oh 221/93! Kingston took us immediately! Thank you!

Our family is grateful for a wonderful experience at Kingston Hospital both as outpatient and inpatient. As a healthcare professional my expectations are high. The staff exceeded those expectations. The hospital is immaculate and filled with a highly professional staff who are standard bearers for compassion and competency.

Besides the fact that we had to go to the hospital in the first place, we had a wonderful experience here. Everyone working in the ER that night was caring, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. We were taken care of quickly, which made the experience way less stressful. The doctor explained the diagnosis and treatment plan clearly and checked in with us multiple times. The facilities were clean as well. At one point our TV remote stopped working and the nurse took time out of her night to help us, even though it was a small, non-urgent problem. We were so grateful for her and the rest of the staff's attentiveness. I would recommend this ER.
